Along with Haridwar, Rishikesh is a classic launch point for the Char Dham Yatra — home to a registration centre, good road access, and comfortable stays to rest before the mountains.
Rishikesh sits at the gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas, with direct road access toward all four dhams. It has a Char Dham registration centre, plentiful accommodation, and a spiritually charged atmosphere to begin the pilgrimage. Many pilgrims spend a night here to rest and register before heading up.
Mandatory Char Dham registration can be done in Rishikesh (online in advance is best). Use your night here to: complete paperwork, buy any trek supplies, acclimatise, attend the Ganga aarti for blessings, and rest before the long mountain drives ahead. We handle registration for our guests.
The traditional clockwise circuit from Rishikesh: → Barkot (for Yamunotri) → Uttarkashi (for Gangotri) → Guptkashi (for Kedarnath) → Badrinath → back. About 1,600 km over 10-12 days by road. The helicopter yatra departs from Dehradun nearby, compressing it to 5-6 days.
We design full Char Dham and Do Dham journeys starting from Rishikesh — comfortable vehicles, vetted hotels, VIP darshan assistance, registration, and our Sahayata care service for senior pilgrims. Begin with a restful night in Rishikesh, then let us handle the mountains.
